The Project would occur along State Route (SR) 131 in the Town of Tiburon, Marin County, California (Figures 1-1 and 1-2). Caltrans proposes to repair approximately 4.6 miles of East Blithedale Avenue/Tiburon Boulevard (SR 131) from approximately 1,000 feet west of the U.S. Highway 101 (U.S. 101) interchange extending east to the Tiburon Boulevard/Main Street intersection, from post miles (PM) 0.00 to 4.40. This area is also referred to as the Project footprint or Project corridor (Figures 1-1 and 1-2).
