The Project is anticipated to receive a Biological Opinion from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) for California red-legged frog (Rana draytonii; CRLF). Additionally, permits, licenses, agreements, certifications, or approvals anticipated for the Project include: a Section 404 Permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; Section 401 Water Quality Certification from the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board;  Section 1602 Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife; and San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission Permit. Approval of funding for the Project is required by the California Transportation Commission for each phase of the Project. No other permits, licenses, agreements, certifications, or approvals are anticipated to be required for the Project.
